Assistant Professor of Psychology, AGF

The Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, general faculty, beginning August 2026.  We are interested in applicants with expertise in Developmental Psychology. This is a three-year, tenure-ineligible appointment with the possibility but not the guarantee of renewal.


 


Responsibilities will include teaching three courses per semester, including foundational classes in Child Development and related offerings. The Department is also interested in applicants who can teach laboratory (e.g., research methods) or experiential learning classes.
