We do this by driving product innovation in emerging technologies and interfaces while focusing on developing a point of view to enhance existing solutions and new use-cases. We also focus on building revenue generating ecosystems and flywheels that can be standalone in adjacent segments and markets. <br>Examples of focus areas include Consumer value propositions, Digital payments, Tokenization / Privacy, enhancing technologies, Payment Acceptance and Processing, and applications of Artificial Intelligence. <br><br> <br><br>Within Foundry, the Manager, will be a critical driver of the enablement of new products, including identification, execution, and in-market delivery of new products and solutions. The responsibilities will include execution of near-term opportunities that drive significant in year revenue and strategic differentiation for Mastercard, as well as scoping, identification, in-market testing of longer-term product concepts and solutions. <br><br> <br><br>Role: <br><br>Uncover new trends and identify relevant opportunities in the future of payments. <br><br>Present findings that translate complex concepts into simple, compelling narratives. <br><br>Experiment quickly with proposed solutions via development of prototypes and proofs-of-concept. <br><br>Develop go-to-market plan to deploy pilots and commercial solutions in market, in partnership with regional leads and sponsoring business units. <br><br>Coordinate strategic, tactical efforts, and planning to facilitate execution and deployment of key priorities globally, partnering with cross-functional teams. <br><br>Drive thought leadership and the learning agenda across key opportunity spaces and emerging technologies (e.g., Tokenization, Artificial Intelligence). <br><br>Build analytics and business cases to prove commercial value of products launched. <br><br>Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Technology, Legal, Data Privacy, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to develop concepts and navigate the product development lifecycle, from early-stage concept ideation through commercialization. <br><br>Analyze and translate information into actionable insights and recommendations to drive business strategy and innovation. <br><br>Manage assigned initiatives and compile updates to share progress with executive leadership. <br><br><br><br> <br><br>All about you: <br><br> The ideal candidate will have experience in various elements of the new product development process - product strategy, sales enablement and market positioning<br> Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds<br> Passion for innovation and emerging technology <br> Understand revenue drivers and recognize opportunities to affect change, in order to optimize business performance<br> Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to drive compelling narratives / storylines, and business cases driving clear consensus on product value propositions that are synthesized from a variety of inputs and viewpoints<br> Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with senior stakeholders<br> Comfort with and an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment<br> Working knowledge of credit/debit products, digital payments and AI landscape is an advantage<br><br><br>Corporate Security Responsibility <br><br>Every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
